Jerusalem UFO

A video examination of the recent claimed UFO in Jerusalem (January 28th 2011).

I have now found the source of the still photo that was used to fake the close up footage (on the left in my comparison).
It is taken from Wikimedia and can be found here:

The event was allegedly filmed by three people. Two of those were together and the third was from a different angle.

This comparison shows that the two do not sync up correctly.

Also, in the second video (the close up view one that I have split onto the laft half of the screen), there is no distortion due to camera zoom, nor signs of parallax as the video pans around the buildings. And the most telling part is that the 'flare' from the street lights, does not alter as the camera tilts and pans. Because of these observations, I sya it's most likely that the second (close up) video is a CGI object superimposed onto a still photo, with the 'camera shake' added afterwards.

As the original (distance shot) is so unclear, it is impossible to determine, but the flash just before the object takes off looks very unrealistic as the main flash light's the whole sky (something not seen in the second close up video), but not the buildings, as if someone has just masked an area in the video and lightened it manually.

@jellyboy123 Oh dear... sorry, but none of the videos have been proven to be authentic, they all show rather obvious signs of containing CGI artifacts. So far, no one has presented any reason for how these artifacts could be account for without the use of CGI.

@ThePerniciousTruth LOL, the Weather cam didn't pick up the UFO at all (because there was no UFO). The same light appears on many different nights. Go and do a date search on the weathercam website and see for yourself. It's nothing more than a light in a window or a security light. Instead of accepting other people's word on these things, it's always best to double and triple check it for yourself.

@ThePerniciousTruth I'm fully aware of the Haiti UFO CGI done in Vue software. As a graphics professional for over 25 years and a video editor CGI enthusiast for the last 8 years I know what to look for. Also as a UFO investigator since I was a teenager, I'm fully aware of all the red flags that are regularly found in UFO reports. @ThePerniciousTruth your not far at all, especially when zooming in, you should see traffic. Besides, all vid were sent in anonymous, thats the biggest hint that they are fake. I'm sure you can see bigfoot somewhere in there too.

@ThePerniciousTruth You are obviously very late to this party and haven't done much research into the stories that make this series of hoaxed videos. It has nothing really to do with traffic. CGI can be applied to moving video and it is specifically the CGI artifacts that can not be explained away by those claiming these videos to be genuine.

Forget the videos and study the human equation to learn the truth. Not ONE person, other than those filming, saw the UFO that night. On an Israeli television program, the interviewer proves that all of the people filming the UFO from different angles DID all know each other, and all work in the film industry. BTW, they were sent in anonymous, thats usually a big clue. In addition, you'd think a city like Jerusalem, there would be thousands of witnesses.

@MrPsychoClown It makes sense on what you have stated. To make it easier, and less arguements, you should explain to these folks what artifacts are. Without a doubt, is fake, and a horrible fake at that. Why? Notice that there is no traffic? of course...stills......plus, the lights dont twinkle, or they should at least change in variation due to the camera lens aperture. One of the biggest hints is the horrible acting. If still in doubt, just youtube "Jerusalem at night" and compare.

I would say the left one is fake for the obvious reason of the horrible actors. " Is that a UFO", asking casually. " we see them in mississippi , but never like this?

Come on, hire some real actors, not your sister and grandma.
