lol can you still call it an accident if he gets hit??
-
@LocalRailfan your a noob.. one shot from a trains horn is more than enough to alert someone to get off the tracks. you cant fix stupid
-
what the hell?
-
@StCatharinesRailFan8 thing is they were throwing stuff at the train by the looks of it. If the train HAD stopped would there have been the possibility that they would have been able to enter the train. Being a British person I have virtually no idea of how foreign train companies, such as VIA and AMTRAK work so please feel free to correct me!

All drunk as hell. I am actually more angry at the engineer, he barely used the horn to warn these guys and that is an emergency situation the train should've been stopped.

what ass holes! Not a nice way to greet people into Bathurst! Wish they did get hit for stupidity and misrepresent Bathurst! Great Channel and work! Love it! Keep it up

@TrainGeek I think they were picked up about 15 mins after, the engineer radioed back to the station and I think they picked 2 of them right by the station.?

wow are they honestly that stupid? That -3 was right upon them and they are just sitting there. If the others had to pull them off, they must have either been drunk or stoned at the time. Nice catch, but I would feel pretty bad for you if you caught their demise on tape

@StCatharinesRailFan8 I think it was a really stupid game of chicken.I think the Engineer s are Extremley POed at time as it happens quite often in this area as they hang and drink.. I aready have 2 different PersonsVS train caught from the same overpass in Beresford in 04 and 05.

@drc35ca Yeah, I'm surprised though that he didnt just stop, as others would. If the encounter is close enough, the engineer is required to stop I think. But I could see why they would be off the wall with these people. I think mostly because the common sense is no longer there, and if they dont move, than theres nothing the crew on the train can do really. Unfortunately this kind of thing will keep happening no matter what

@StCatharinesRailFan8 He stepped out at about 15-20 feet in front of the engine but its still to close for comfort considering if he would slipped, tripped or fell, dont think the they could have stopped in time? The Engineer radioed back to the Station and I think they picked some of them up about ten minutes later?
