Here is Al-Tabari's famous tafsir (exegesis of the Koran) concerning what Muslims may do:

"If you [Muslims] are under their [infidels'] authority, fearing for yourselves, behave loyally to them, with your tongue, while harboring inner animosity for them. ... Allah has forbidden believers from being friendly or on intimate terms with the infidels in place of believers — except when infidels are above them [in authority]. In such a scenario, let them act friendly towards them."

Regarding 3:28, Ibn Kathir (second in authority to Tabari) writes, "Whoever at any time or place fears their [infidels'] evil may protect himself through outward show." As proof of this, he quotes Muhammad's close companion, Abu Darda, who said, "Let us smile to the face of some people [non-Muslims] while our hearts curse them"; another companion, al-Hassan, said, "Doing taqiyya is acceptable till the Day of Judgment [i.e., in perpetuity] - "War and Peace -- and Deceit -- in Islam" by Raymond Ibrahim

Hey guys.I dont care what beliefs u hold onto but for me,if you respect my religion,I will respect yours too.So I see u are judging people based on what others think of them.Do you really actually know what Islam is?So you learn Islam through another religion.Lets say I want to know something about Christian, should I ask to a Buddhist?or Jews maybe? Definately NO.For what I'll attain is what they know through their opinion.Same goes here.Have u really approach a Muslim just to ask about Islam?

@gQuaresma07 Your professor. Yes. I can prove my point from the Bible. With quite a few verses. if Jesus is calling himself by the same names that God used, that would be blasphemy unless he is God.

@StrengthFromAbove83 but you see, my professor for my bible class says that Jesus never claim divinity, because he is divine already. will.....he is a prophet to me and I can prove it from the bible. can you prove yours from the bible??

@gQuaresma07 Well, I'm glad you aren't a terrorist. Then Israel would welcome you to live there. Like I said before, MANY Muslims live there. Jesus never says the WORDS..."I AM GOD", but the context is all over the Bible. It is in the New and Old Testaments. Jesus calls himself the SAME NAMES that God calls himself. The religious Jews wanted to stone Jesus because they KNEW he was referring to himself as God.
