Timing is VERY important. For example, don't wait until your significant other takes a crappy job in a different state so they can live by you and then break up on the day he moves into his new place. There's no good way to do it when that's the timing.

good advice i guess, tho i've never ever had a break-up like that. its always dragged on for weeks/months, they did it with a huge argument or my last bf - he told me on msn (wtf)
