Bill Hicks asking for a Positive LSD story on the news. This is one of my favourite clips off Bill so I just had to stick it up here to share it with you guys.

It amazes me how many people don't know about Bill Hicks. Lightening fast, politically perfect and funny as hell!

Why are all the greats snatched away from us?

R.I.P. Bill Hicks
Dec 16th, 1961 - Feb 26th, 1994.

Video Lyrics:
...How about a positive LSD story, that would be news-worthy. Don't you think...? Anybody think that...? Just once, to hear a positive LSD story...? Today a young man on acid realized that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves... Here's Tom with the weather.

You are correct I did make some assumptions there. I have no issues if you choose not to believe in God. I don't remember making this comment, but something you said must have irked me. I wouldn't have been so dickish otherwise.

So yeah I am sorry for attacking you, douche move on my behalf. I recommend you look into the philosophy of Alan Watts and other Eastern ideas. They're much more thought provoking than the hierarchical based religions you mentioned at least in my opinion.

...just like the guy I was replying to you make assumptions and judge me with no knowledge of who I am, what I know or what I stand for.

If you follow the comment trail back you will see that this all stems from someone mocking me for adding "RIP Bill" to the end of the video.

Did it not occur to you that I have already looked into Islam, Christianity and even Satanism in my search for the truth. While influenced by studies, I decided I do NOT believe in a god.

Why is that so hard for you?

Just because someone believes in God, doesn't mean they discount facts, science or reality.

Just another key example of the close mindedness of atheists like yourself, who assume that all ideas of God, are the Western ideas of God and that it's a game of the Atheists vs Everyone who acknowledges any kind of spiritualistic practices or beliefs.

If you were less close minded, research could show you science is overlapping with certain religions, particular Eastern ideas.

    Have a nice day :)

So, you can only see the mystery in life if you believe in gods? That does not compute....

All that I have been conscious of is my own play of consciousness, a dance of light, the swirling patterns of light in infinite extension, endless endlessness, the Absolute beyond change, existence, reality. I, the voyager, am inseparable from the Clear Light; I cannot be born, die, exist, or change. I know now that this is my true nature."

"Reading #4 - Confronting the Clear Light

~Now I am experiencing the Clear Light of objective reality. Nothing is happening, nothing ever has happened or ever will happen. My present sense of self, the voyager, is in reality the void itself, having no qualities or characteristics. I remember myself as the voyager, whose deepest nature is the Clear Light itself; I am one; there is no other. I am the voidness of the void, the eternal unborn, the uncreated, neither real nor unreal...
