Victor Davis Hanson (VD) is a real American bigot. He just spews out all sorts of orientalist, eurocentric mythology. Seriously, the world is so much more of a cultural meltingpot than this elitiist recognizes. Who takes the writings of Herodotus at face value- VD that is who.
