Buncombe Life July 2011

Buncombe Life is an informative monthly television program series produced by Buncombe County Television (BCTV). Each episode shares insight into the ever changing face of Buncombe County. We take great pride in supplying our citizens with the most recent and up to date information within our county and the departments we represent.

In this issue host Kathy Hughes visits the WNC Farmers Market and the Asheville Humane Society. Doug Sutton, Manager of the Farmers Market describes what is available at the market in the retail and wholesale areas. The Farmers Market is open year round and is located at 570 Brevard Road off of I-40. Meghan Jordan, with the Human Society explains the adoption process for kittens, cats and dogs all for adoption at a reasonable price. The Asheville Humane Society Adoption and Education Center and The Buncombe County Animal Shelter are both located off Brevard Road near Deal Buick on Forever Friend Lane.
