Nice vid work as well! yeehaw!

i see, good job!
i thought a water cooler would be too heavy, with is 20 gallons of coolant. we in europe mostly use air-cooled ones.
but seeing that one can't go very fast on country roads, so no air cooling, and that a pick-up has lots more space and carrying capacity, i guess a water cooler is the better option.
nice job, you get about without paying for gas! everyone's dream! keep at it!

a question?
would it be too heavy for a normal car? cause 20 galons coolant alone, that's heavy...
oh, and does that straw-shavings filter do the job? would stone wool do the job as well?

You have built the best stuff!!! =-)

Thanks all for your comments and encouragement.I really enjoy driving the woodgas truck.
L33TFoomaster,
The heat is taken away from the cooler but the heat from the hot gas leaving the reduction zone in the gasifier is used to preheat the combustion air coming in through the 16 air tubes.
If you go to woodgas , net,you can see good clear diagrams of the whole system.
