Why don't they show any standard definition video? Oh that's right, because plasmas are fixed resolution displays so anything non-native has to be scaled. Kind of like how if you set your LCD monitor to a low resolution (640x480 for example), it looks awful. To anyone silly enough to fork out for this overpriced 63 inch piece of glass, enjoy your crummy scaled SD picture. lol.

Yes there is a game mode!
You can download the manual from the Samsung website like I did and have a read of the things this set can do.
Ordering mine tomorrow and I also qualify for the FREE Blu Ray AND 3D glasses AND all 4 Shrek films. Can't wait!! :)
