I had forgotten the moment after the first kiss where it looks like they're going to kiss again, but then Celine initiates that "warm hug embrace" instead--so tender coupled with the looks on their faces--it's like they knew right away this was not only "hormones" talking and that this was a deep shared desire for vulnerability and connection
and as other people have said the absence of music is another contributor to the intimacy of this scene

I can understand Jesse's cynicism it's not that he doesnt believe in love its that he believes too much in it and so far his experiences with love havent shown him a reason to believe so strongly in it. Especially since we learn later his gf whom he's traveled all the way to madrid to visit wasnt as happy to see him.
