  • That was really interesting! I've been interested in CCD even though I live in the city. I like your "down home" explanations! Thanks for explaining!

  • My concern is not about farming them, but for some of the methods that are utilized. These concerns are better expressed by more eloquent men than me.  Rudolf Steiner even predicted that some of these methods would precipitate what we are now experiencing - Colony Collapse Disorder. A good beekeeper provides superior housing, near forage and water, with protection from the elements & predators. And finally, enough honey and pollen are left in the hive to carry them through the winter.
