Raw footage from the southern tip of Afghanistan's Helmand Province, where U.S. Marines started construction of a combat outpost earlier this week. Interview with Marine about their push south, which was largely uneventful. Taliban fighters are in the area, but wouldn't face the Marines head-on knowing they'd lose. The Taliban instead prefer to attack with hidden roadside bombs.

  • Good Vid. But it's a COP(combat outpost). Not COB. There is something called a FOB(forward operating base) which is bigger than a COP. I remember that chick. She was at FOB Dwyer when I was there.
