  • How many lbs. boost do u think a stock 89 CRX HF (D15B6) with si trany can handle?

  • @TheAccordlx Me, specifically, because my trailing arm bushings are shot and my car starts to really pull to sides above 80 mph already. Plus 120 is over double the speed limit and jailtime. Not worth it to me. And I don't wanna hit a dam dog at a buck twenty EITHER, and die.

  • @quinnmyster Awwwww dude it doesnt need more clutch he probubly needs a better wasitgate. I got 11psi on my D15b these transmitions can handle that at their full potential. I jus needed a better waistgate than what came with my kit I run low 13s Im goin for high 12s soon and mabey even faster with a LS B18 engine swap with a turbo runnen even more boost.

  • @quinnmyster haha... i see hmmm lol... yea... i should, but what happen to your low end can you describe it, i was thinking about getting a lighter flywheel but did not want one, but just wondering how fast is a stock rsx? i totally owned an rsx lol it musts of been slow.....

  • @sonosuke123 Nice. I have a Stage 2 SPEC clutch and stock flywheel to put in (don't like the Fidanza any more. Low-end feels weird). Yeah if you're not tuned your car's probably only 140-150hp, and a really SHITTY 140-150 hp cause the air-fuel would be all over the place. haha.. Should tune that sucka!

  • @quinnmyster lol yea..... my clutch was out and now i got a stage 2 act clutch with act lite flywheel, and hooking up front mount intercooler too, i should get it tune though.....

  • @sonosuke123 Is it tuned? That makes a HUGE difference. And the guy who street-tuned mine has done tuning for a long time so he tuned it very well. Plus I'm using a small front-mount that's only good for about 250hp, not one of those big ones that cause too much pressure loss and lag. I don't plan on doing more than 220whp at any point. And you might need a new clutch if yours is stock.

  • @JOSEATJG It's not bad for 6psi. Pretty sure it's a high 14-second 1/4 mile. Needs the headstuds and new clutch in so I can put more boost and re-tune!
