It took me 7 months to trap Stinky back in 2003. She was a feral cat and I tried setting traps to no avail. She "fell" for a laser light. I took her to the local trap-neuter-release program to be fixed, but I kept her. Now she is a happy indoor-only cat.

how precious. my mom adopted a feral cat that was set to be euthanized at the local shelter. it took three months before "lucy" would allow anyone to come near her. now she is the biggest attention whore you'd ever want to meet. she can't stand being alone, will nudge you until you give her a good scratch along her spine, and absolutely refuses to go outside. don't know what kind of horrors she experienced before, but she is such a sweetheart now and we all just love her.

How sweet! And God bless you for taking in a feral cat and taking the time to turn her life around. I have 2cats I just took in...siblings...that were left for wild...after 3 or 4 months I was able to catch them . Now they are velcro cats!

Pretty kitty. =] I had a feral cat at one time, took me around 6 months to get "Dipstick" to trust me. She was a sweetie. I miss her "(
Only reason "Stinky" stinks now, is from being spoiled rottenin' (as I always say). Five stars!
