The Battle of Miridem - Episode 1 - Part 1/2

The Covenant have been attacking the colony Miridem for two days, and the local UNSCDF (defence force) have been outnumbered by the Covenant onslaught. The UNSC decided quickly to send reinforcements to the defenseless colony. The first UNSC ship to arrive at the colony Miridem was the UNSC Sagan, an UNSC heavy frigate, equipped with something that will help them win the fight. A team of SPARTAN-IIs.
The team is called "Team Beta", also known as Beta-Red, which is a splinter team of the SPARTAN-II Red Team. The team consists of four, originally seven, SPARTAN-IIs.
After the SPARTAN-II team were briefed, they were sent down with Single Occupant Exoatmospheric Insertion Vehicles, a.k.a drop pods, with a squadron of ODSTs to fulfill their mission.
Their mission is to make sure that the UNSC doesn't lose control over Miridem. And to succeed doing that, they need to drive out the Covenant from the city. And then, the rest of the planet.

Part 1 of 2. The episode is splitted into two parts. Make sure to watch both parts, or else you've not seen the whole episode.
I had to split the machinima into two parts, 15 minutes each, because YouTube doesn't allow me to upload more than that. Sadly.

@nelson1O1 Yeah, it really is a problem. I couldn't do these scenes on local. And back then I didn't have the no-weapon mod... :(

I've lowered the weapons in a lot of scenes for episode 2, so hopefully you'll be satisfied when you see it. :P

@08Putte08 You don't need a mod to lose your weapons. Simply walk backward with a turret and active hologram as you drop the turret, I believe... It will drop your weapons, but your arms are tense and it kind of looks dumb. Looks better just to use weapons. And did you say mods? You use mods now? I've done a lot of searching on the web about the legality because I was wanting to use mods when I start machinima. I was under the impression it is illegal. Do you know for sure?

@nelson1O1 As he said, you cannot lower weapons on XboxLIVE, only local, which allows a maximum of four players per TV. The scenes wouldn't have the same feel with only 4 soldiers in a room. I think the sacrifice was worth it. Good job, Putte.

@Cypher157 yea that would be cool, but a scene like that was done over Xbox live. Because of that, weapon lowering is not usable.
