Our 19 year old son died in a car accident last month. He had a heart of gold and loved and cared for people with that amazing heart. He had a disability that made it difficult for him to learn many things but he overcame it and taught himself to play guitar in a way that was truly amazing. He played with soul and it was reflected in the beauty of his music. We had this song sang and played on guitar at his funeral. His chains are gone and he in no longer encumbered with the disability.
This is a great song, I have done so much in my life that is not right. I know I dont deserve his forgiveness, but he has given me so much even when I am not right. He gave me a beautiful wife and daughter. He gave me a new job in the Air Force and I don't deserve it, but he did. I want to get right and get sin our of my life for good. Please pray for me. Does anyone else get chills when they hear this? You know God and Jesus are there, that they are moving in you.
It's when we reach our rock bottom that God brings us close to Him.... None of us "deserve"; it is all done by Grace. Temptation will always be there; but you will find the strength to turn away from it, if you ask God. Jesus spoke about the Counselor (John 14:26; 15:26 and 16:7). It is The Counselor that I believe we feel in our soul. As the mother of one who served the Air Force for 10 years full time, and is now Reserve, Thank you for your service to our country.
