Meet the Republican choice - John McCain.

John McCain faulted the Bush Administration in August of 2006 for not being honest with the American people in their rhetoric leading up to the War in Iraq, but who else led the American people to think that the occupation of Iraq would "be some kind of day at the beach?"

2006
"We had not told the American people how tough and difficult this could be. It has contributed enormously to the frustration that Americans feel today because they were led to believe this could be some kind of day at the beach." [McCain in Columbus Ohio, Press Conference, aired on CNN, 8/22/06]

2002
McCain: "And I believe that the success will be fairly easy." [CNN, Larry King Live, 9/24/02]

2007
Tim Russert: "Go back, Senator, to 2002 -- the administration saying we'd be greeted as liberators." [MSNBC, 1/10/07]

2003
McCain: "There's no doubt in my mind that once these people are gone that we will be welcomed as liberators." [MSNBC, Hardball, 3/24/03]

2002
McCain: "I believe that we can win an overwhelming victory in a very short period of time." [CNN Late Edition, 9/29/02]

2008
Questioner: President Bush has talked about our staying in Iraq for fifty years."
McCain: "Make it a hundred... That would be fine with me, I hope it would be fine with you." [McCain Town hall in Derry, NH, 1/3/08]

2002
McCain: "We're not going get into house-to-house fighting in Baghdad." [CNN Late Edition, 9/29/02]

2003
McCain: "It doesn't take a large number of people to cause difficulties in house to house fighting- we've just seen that in southern Iraq." [MSNBC, 3/24/03]

2006
McCain: "We have not told the American people how touch and difficult this task would be... they were led to believe this could be some kind of day at the beach." [CNN, 8/22/06]

  • Will the REAL elitist please stand up?

Meet John and Cindy McCain, ordinary American citizens. Beer heiress, Cindy McCain is an executive whose worth may exceed $100 million. She spends up to 500K a month on AMEX cards, pays upwards of 300K for staff in all of the McCain's grandiose residences, has a private jet at her service (the only way to get around AZ is by private jet, after all), and purchases clothing from couture boutiques where suits start at $3500.00.

  • Barak talks about race the most. When talking about racial issues,He never once says " STOP!For those that say I'm black,Let me remind you I'm half white" because he is more comfortable with his black side.

Black wife, black church, black politics, He is much more black than white regarding his actions.

  • i started off at $5.15 an hour when i was 15, now 7 years later i'm at $27 an hour from workin hard and proving myself. Everything I own i paid for myself I didnt inherit anything like you guys say

if you're smart you might realize.. hey that puts him in the middle class range that would get a 1000 dollar tax cut from obama... well kinda sickens me a little bit to think of voting myself a pay raise because it wouldn't be real, my pay RATE would stop increasing like it has the last 7 years

  • actually i WORK 3rd shift... funny word "WORK", hopefully it can become irrelevant under obama? now please go die in a fire or at least go to school and come back when your balls drop and you can somewhat have a rational discussion without spewing buzzwords and racism

  • go to bed kiddie, noone's reading your book

  • more dumber jesus christ

  • I dont have a problem with a Black being president it is THIS black that is the wrong choice.

The fact that blacks will vote for him because he is black shows blacks are the biggest racists.

  • obama didn't set bombs but his old political supporter did, this isn't a children's book, i'm sorry i don't have pictures to spell it out for you.

  • from wikipedia: Conservative opinion columnist for the Washington Post Charles Krauthammer wrote that, "Obama's defense is that he was 8 when Ayers and his Weather Underground comrades were planting bombs at the Pentagon, the U.S. Capitol and other buildings. True. But Obama was 40 when Ayers said publicly that he doesn't regret setting bombs. Indeed, he said, 'I feel we didn't do enough'.
