Feeding orphaned wolf pups at Kafkas University Veterinary Faculty, Kars, Turkey

The mothers of these wolves were probably killed by hunters. When the brought were brought to the university (supposedly found on the side of the road), they were too young to be independent. This is a temporary enclosure and an outdoor enclosure is being built. The university plans to release the wolves back to the wild after they are fully grown.
