this rant and John Goodman as the actor got me into watching the series, and i have to say it is amazing, i love how John Goodman plays this character, who sees the crap of the world and is able to understand it and relay it back to the audience in way that they understand it as well.

LOVE this scene. He expressed every single bit of anger that we all felt. All these years later, still, no one cares. Travel around. You'd be stunned at some of the stupidity I've heard from people who've never been to NOLA but think they have a clue.
