Pavol Demitra Tribute

In 2005/2006 I was privileged to travel with the LA Kings hockey team and film a behind-the-scenes documentary series on the team. The Kings are a first class organization and hockey players are the classiest of all pro athletes. The subjects of the series were hockey greats such as Luc Robitaille, Jeremy Roenick, and Craig Conroy...but over the course of the season I also got to follow the late great Pavol Demitra.

After hearing about his tragic loss, I went back to the project and found many fun outtakes with Pavol and the guys while on the road. My favorite is a conversation that he and Robitaille and JR have before Luc's final game in San Jose. It's a fun moment between these three greats. Besides being a great hockey player, Pavol was a team guy. You can see in this footage that he certainly had a love for the guys that he played with and I wanted to share theses outtakes as a special tribute of who he was both on and off the ice.
