He obviously does not understand anything regarding economics just like most politicians. If you let the money follow the child new schools will spring up everywhere offering every type of specialized curriculum you can imagine. The parents can choose the one they want. If the school goes under because it doesn't perform well.. to bad! Then the parents will take their voucher to another better school. Instead the gov't just gives more money to these failing schools. He just doesn't get it.

Unfortunately, vouchers leave some kids behind--the kids whose parents are not involved enough (for whatever reason) to secure the voucher and change schools. Those kids shouldn't be at a systemic disadvantage just because their parents aren't able to take the same initiative as others.

Thanks for posting. He obviously doesn't understand the issue. The point of vouchers is to help low income students! He is obviously for the status quo, as he consistently was while governor here in Arkansas.

The title of your video post is misleading...I don't see this as Huckabee opposing school choice, I see it as him explaining some of the issues involved with vouchers and solutions to the problems.

I gave the video a good rating because it shows Huckabee explaining the whole situation in regards to schools. Not sure where you got that title from as it makes no sense.
