Ingrid Fliter (*23 de septiembre de 1973, Buenos Aires) es una pianista argentina de relevancia internacional.
Estudió con Elizabeth Westerkamp en Buenos Aires y su primera aparición publica fue a los 11 años en un recital, debutando a los 16 en el Teatro Colón 1
En 1992, aconsejada por Martha Argerich, se mudó a Europa donde estudió con Vitalj Margulis en Freiburg y luego con Carlo Bruno en Roma, Franco Scala y Boris Petrushansky en Imola. Asistió a clases magistrales con Leon Fleisher, Alexander Lonquich, Louis Lortie y Zoltán Kocsis.1
Ganó el primer premio en la Cantu International Competition y el cuarto en el Ferruccio Busoni International Piano Competition y la medalla de plata en el Concurso Internacional de Piano Frédéric Chopin. En el año 2006 le fue otorgada la 2006 Gilmore Artist Award2 , la primera mujer en ganarlo3
Debutó en Estados Unidos con la Orquesta Filarmónica de Varsovia con Kazimierz Kord y con la Atlanta Symphony Orchestra con Donald Runnicles4 . Suma actuaciones con, entre otras, la Orquesta de Cleveland y la Orquesta del Concertgebouw.
Vive entre New York y Milan.

Ingrid Fliter (born September 23, 1973, Buenos Aires) is an Argentinian pianist. She began her formal piano studies with Elizabeth Westerkamp. Her first public appearance in recital was at age 11, and she made her concerto debut at the Teatro Colón at age 16.[1]
In 1992, on the advice of Martha Argerich, Fliter moved to Europe, and continued her studies with Vitalj Margulis at the Hochschule für Musik, Freiburg. She later was a student with Carlo Bruno in Rome, and with Franco Scala and Boris Petrushansky at the Academy "Incontri col Maestro", Imola. She has participated in masterclasses with Leon Fleisher, Alexander Lonquich and Louis Lortie. She also counts Zoltán Kocsis as a mentor.[1]
Fliter won several competitions in her native Argentina and in Europe, first prize winner at the Cantu International Competition and fourth prize winner at the Ferruccio Busoni Competition in Italy. In 2000, she was awarded the silver medal at the International Frederick Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw. Fliter was the fifth recipient of the 2006 Gilmore Artist Award[2], and the first woman to win this award.[3] She is a New Generation Artist for BBC Radio 3 for the period 2007-2009.
Fliter made her United States debut as the featured soloist on a tour with the Warsaw Philharmonic and Kazimierz Kord in January/February 2002. Her first concerto appearance with a US orchestra was with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra in January 2006.[4]
Fliter lives between New York and Milan.
