that tool wood cum in handy

just cut it to 5cm to 10cm strips along the length of the vinyl and pull up it up. no need to waste your money.

I ended up using a heat gun and scraper. It was a pain. And I still had to use a belt sander to smooth it all back down. If your wood surface is 1/4 plywood, which is common, I'd suggest tearing it up and putting new down. It will be much less time consuming than the scraping.

@profisu Funny you should say because thats why I watched this. I am looking for a tool that will remove lino and tile from wood surfaces. I am thinking maybe some kind of heated scraper or something. Anyone know a good method?

Doesn't work with ease if its plywood under the vinyl. Then you just end up gouging the wood with the tool.
