preciate the review. i actually got a saturn w a couple games the other day, this being one of them. completely new to the series. any tips for a newb? is there anywhere u can rest to restore hp and mp? if so i havent found it yet

Man I remember when I saw that at my local game renting shop and it only took me and split second to pick it up ..... and spending $ 50 on hiring a saturn to play it on. But it was $50 well spent.
I absolutely love the spell system. It took what was great about SF and SF2 systems and expanded on it. It's simple but rewarding.
When ever you learn or level up a spell it felt like you accomplished something. lol
It kinda feels that way with Golden Sun , it's something Camelot has the knack for.

Have you reviewed Shining Tears ? I loved Shining the Holy Ark- I have played it three times. It's a great game, and the puzzles were pretty cool to. The one in the temple with the gems...OMG!!!

@Jegudiel29ZX yeah but i wasnt reviewing the series or the 3 games on the saturn only holy ark, otherwise i woulda mentioned the 3rd game as well, shining wisdom is a great game too imo, i just played through that right after holy ark and i still found it very enjoyable!

Great review! I keep RPGs around mostly for collectible reasons these days and rarely find time to play them. However, I will make time for this game. It just clicks with me. Every time I start it up I'm amazed at how well everything came together. Games like STHA are the reason to own a Saturn.

@wip3outguy7 AGREED! This is one of the reasons that convinced me to get a saturn years ago!! Well along with SF3 Albert Oddessy and Guardian Heros!!!!
