Of course there is the ancient language. European spoke the old English during medieval time. Chinese spoke way differently as well thousands of years ago. Perfect example is how they spoke in Lord of the Rings. Some people complain the dialogue in this movie are in modern common language, which destroyed the film's atmosphere, but I think it's fine.

Its stupid.
The people who complained, were the people in America.
Not everyone spoke Ancient Chinese...

Zhuge Liang's brilliance is exaggerated in the Romance of Three Kingdom novel. This film give proper credits to other important figures at the time such as Zhou Yu, who helped unite the entire South from local warlords.

And it kinda sucks because I heard in real life,
after letting the bad guy go, he formed a new group and bribed Takeshi's character to betray them and when he won the war, he stole Andy's character's wife. Its kinda sad...

WHAT!!! Anyway, I got these 2 films on dvd. I love it, I thought the war scene on the part 2 movie was amazing. I wish they make more movies like these. Curse of The Golden Flower is also good if u havent seen it yet indricablurrmyIS! Black banquet & house of the flying daggers.

Of course I'll watch it.
