I think you need an aftermarket air intake to really hear the transition but I don't really know too much about vtec.

yeah im looking at getting a V2 along with new header/exhaust

yea i got an 05 type S, once the cold air intake went in, you can hear the vtec much louder. I could still hear it clearly in that video tho probably because i know how it sounds like. Im also going along with the header soon. exhaust and tires next summer!
