Under flight-number LB-845, we flew from Cochabamba airport to Santa Cruz onboard this Boeing B727-200 CP-2429; date 15 March 2005. Three years later this a/c was involved in a serious accident.
The tri-jet departed La Paz on a domestic service to Cobija (CIJ). Bad weather at the destination forced the crew to divert to Trinidad (TDD). Reports indicate that the crew carried out a forced landing in an Amazon jungle clearing just short of the airport, possibly as a result of fuel exhaustion (01Feb 2008)

Great video. I like the way you document the entire process of preparing the flight. The flight crew, ground crew servicing the aircraft, boarding the aircraft, on-board before take off, take off and cruise. These were the days when LAB was at its best. Too bad this aircaft ended its life just before it landed in Trinidad, in my opinion due to bad flight planning. Fuel starvation!
