Don't know what it means. I think though, that this man whose beloved is deteriorating, and is trying to remember her for what she was, and is trying by his playing of music and reading to her, is showing our need to hold on to what's temporal. The anticlimactic event of her waking (then moving on) when he has retrieved the needed compound for her continued stasis (when he has little fuel) seems like a lesson, that we shouldn't waste our resources on those who aren't coming back.

I think its just a song and it meant something to the person who wrote it and we should appreciate how it sounds and leave it at that

I think the video is about the man doing everything he can to keep the girl, but once she wakes up and can see past the music and the touching gestures, she leaves him. Men have a habit of thinking that if they are with the perfect someone they will be entirely happy, but they don't think about what that other someone wants or needs.

Good art & music transcends specific meaning or story, sometimes even particular subjects and objects, and instead conveys emotions and experiences of life.

A cherished life. Hope. Perseverance. Love. Longing. Desperation. Sacrifice. Missed opportunity. Despair. Sorrow & grief. That's what I feel. What do you feel? And yes the chair is iconic, a very deliberate choice to invoke timelessness, perhaps familiarity by its ubiquitous nature. Not fond of the style, but I admit talented.

That's cool. But that chair is a truly classic. Thats why i thought so nice to see that in the video. Its the type of choise that is not just a randow chair... someone chooses that chair for beeing a classic. I'm amazed when I see videos that people chooses objects that are really important in the history of design because that way you know that whoever chooses that, knows what is he is talking about. Is not about taste... not at all. But its all ok =)
