The camp is for girls 8 to 18 years of age. No knowledge of a musical instrument is needed to attend. Too Hot For Enthusiasm were a group of teenagers who seemed to have quite a bit of musical instrument knowledge. They were one of my favorite bands from the showcase.

From the camp literature: The camp provides an atmosphere where campers can challenge the limiting myths about music and gender that conspire to make girls afraid to speak up, sing out and be heard. We give girls and women tools to abolish the obsolete assumptions that restrict their participation in musical expression.
