I got the chance to put a GoPro on a friend's helmet for a 1/4 mile test pass. He is heavy into drag racing and has a great deal of NHRA pro-stock motorcycle training.

We used the 3M sticky mounts on the helmet to secure the GoPro.

EDIT: Sorry for not getting a proper walk around. Here is a picture of Joey and his bike: http://i.imgur.com/4cvpM.png

  • you live on the east coast? if so I'd pay to see how fast you really are...

No need. He's all over the AMA dragbike scene. YouTube doesn't allow URLs, so go to the MiRock racing website and view the qualifying/race results for Real Street. His name is Joey Gladstone.

Lol. You are more than welcome to submit evidence that says otherwise.

  • umm no disrespect but there's no way that was a 7 second run....

  • @nickgnaime his on and 07 GSXR 1000

  • Awesome, crazy, nuts! I know all about the wind drag of a GoPro on your helm, though not in these speeds :3 I love to finally see what happens after the drag strip, that is always missing otherwise ;)
