That rock that is showing at the 1:35 mark of the video was very warm to the touch when I visited Centralia for my second time on January 3, 2008. The temperature outside was no warmer than 15F/-9C yet the rock was at least 70F/21C...if not warmer.

Thanks for watching the video. I viewed a couple of your videos including the one with the rock you were refering to. I made my video for a biology powerpoint. You must realy be interested in centralia. I reaearched it for my powerpoint and i agree, it is very interesting.
