Hey bro, there was record heat in MI too!! I look around this city and suburbs of Detroit and so many people are not even concerned with anything. If you ask most people they think the gulf is almost clean. Not many people are getting ready by saving food and water let alone supplies. Thank God the oil didn't get to lake Michigan... YET!! I was in a exclusive mall just north of Detroit and they are selling smoothies for a whopping $7 each!! WTF!! And people just buy buy buy that stuff up!!

Hard to believe McCarthy wrote this when he was 76. Gives me hope I’ve got some good yrs left in me.
