Boise Pondless Backyard Waterfall

A waterfall in our backyard that we recently constructed from a kit. This is a pondless waterfall which means there are fewer safety and maintenance considerations.

You're right. If you look at the later pictures in "Boise Pondless Waterfall - A View Over Four Years" you'll see we did just that with ferns and many other plants.

Nice job, has a good sound to it! Alot of mistakes are made by not using a pump with enough flow! or GPH, You did your homework and should be proud of your work, great job.

@dhighway59 Thanks for the nice words. But it really wasn't my doing. I just bought a kit and followed the instructions. The only creative part was watching a bunch of videos on layout and arranging the structure. The pump calcs were already done for me.

I purchased this as a kit from clearwaterlandscapes website. It's one of their pondless waterfall kits, the small one

I am at a stage where I want to avoid problems later on. Did you use a liner over the whole of the area and did it prove worthwhile. I think it is a must and to get the best possible. Am I right or wrong?

Just updated our pondless waterfall and changed it to a waterfall with pond. Was not happy with the water flow or the overall look. Check it out. Still loving your Pondless Waterfall!
