@MrJobu73 I was referring to fact that Eddie uses an A string from a bass tuned down to A to replace the low E on his guitar just to play Good Enough.
I just purchased an A string just to play Good Enough. Don't worry I like Mike!

Mikes a smokn bass player. Check out chickenfoot. He just didn't have room to play in Van Halen. He didn't need to he was a team player and played 16th notes without ever complaining. somebody had to hold the beat while Ed and alex went crazy. Obviously you haven't played in a band.
