  • @JoMonki His name is Dr Michael Elliott. He still works at RPA (did my 2 Op's this year). He is a Head and Neck Surgeon.

  • i just answered my own question....lol sorry Royal Prince Alfred Hospital

  • What is the RPA? and does anyone know who the Doctor is and where is currently working..?

  • if there's only an institution or a kind hearted people who can help with this problem,i will gladly appreciate it..i want this pleomorphic adenoma or parotid mass to be removed as early as possible..i had this check by another doctor in our province and ask how much this operation would cost..Oh God,to my suprise its too expensive.and in our province the operation they will perform it without vein stimulator.and that adds to my fear.im praying to God that through this..can any one help me pls !

  • @MIKED408 sir thanks for the information.but as much as id like it to be removed, unfortunately i have no enough money to undergo this kind of operation but i'm praying and still hoping that i will have my operation as early as possible...i would like to do some research regarding pleomorphic adenoma but while reading some research made me frightened even more....though know i dont need to be scared at all.....thanks and God bless! =)

  • @ghijay : I'm not a doctor, but I've been doing a lot of research on these and one of the things I have found is that if the tumors are not removed, it's possible that in the future there is a good chance that they can become cancerous.

  • i have the same problem since 2007 i noticed a mass in the left side of my face.i have it checked and my doctor told me that it was a parotid mass.i have a fine needle biopsy and it shown benign last 2009.and i was advised to had an operation but i was really afraid....is there any other options aside from having a total parotidectomy?im afraid that any complications would occur after the operation...pls advise me what to do?thanks

  • but the doc seems to be very nice. hope mine is going to be as nice as this one seems.

  • 20 to 29 would be nine years right? not 6

  • That doctor was fantastic. I wish I meet somebody like that when its my turn to have mine removed
