  • Did you write this song Martin? I remember rehearsing it ...

  • Hey M

Yes I wrote it,back in the UK

Its on the Fourmyula 'Turn your back on the wind'

album as well...a bit different though

I think the Fourm. are playing it in NZ soon

    Cheers

    M

  • Thanks George

Wow Grannys was a while back!

Maurice Greer wandered up to me Wellington and asked me if I was interested in joining the HI a few months after I returned from UK

I was only doing a few sessions for Alan Galbraith at the time and playing with Midge Marsden may be...cant remember

I moved to Auckland and got a real shock at the power that the 'Instinct had !

We played around NZ 3 piece

I later left for Oz,came back and joined them a year later again! This time it was 4 piece MH

  • That's great we've cleared that up. What date do you arrive? Will you have a mobile with you? You should get yourself a Facebook account - its much easier to communicate - you would probably enjoy it - so many people just keep coming out of the woodwork.

  • Thank you Martin. I remember seeing you as part of HI in Granny's in the early 1970s. When did you join them and when did you leave? Was is something you took on as soon as you returned from the UK?
