M- we are not friends. Im busy. I thought I told you to stay away from Nick.
S- yes you did, but as you can tell, I dont take orders from you. And it would seem that if he wanted to spend time with you, he wouldnt be trying to avoid you, which he is clearly doing.
M- (yelling) I want to speak with him right now!
S- Im sorry. Hes unavailable at the moment, but Ill be sure to give him your message.
M- put him on the phone.
S- nice talking to you. Buh-bye. (hangs up and hears Miley still yelling into the phone)

*Selena walks back over to where Joe is sitting and sees that Demi and Nick are finished playing. She deletes Mileys name from the received call list on Nicks phone and puts it back in Demis bag.*

S- so, who won?
N- we didnt finish because Demi likes to cheat.
D- I WASNT CHEATING! Youre the one who wasnt keeping track of the score.
N- Oh, sure. Blame it all on me.
J- Im pretty sure it was tied.
D- shut up. I was definitely winning.
K- (comes over) what are you guys up to?
J- Nick and Demi just finished playing volleyball.
K- well, dad just detached the kayaks from the boat if anyone wants to use them.
D- oh! I do! Come on Joe! (pulls him up and heads towards where the kayaks are laying.)
K- are you guys going to go?
S- no, we will let them have their time together. They need it.
K- why?
S- no reason.
K- well, they fixed the hammocks over by the rock walk way, if you guys want to go chill over there.
S- sure, come on Nick.
N- ok. (Nick follows her)

*Demi and Joe are out on the kayaks. Joe stops paddling and laughs at Demi. She glares at him.*

D- why did you stop paddling?
J- because Im tired and you were doing a good job by yourself.
D- well Im not paddling if your not.
J- ok then we can sit here for a few minutes and enjoy our surroundings. (pretends to be observing the nature around him)
D- you are really weird.
J- I know, but thats what makes me so adorable.
D- so you think youre adorable?
J- yes I do. Dont you?
D- did your mom tell you that one?
J- yes she did. (really proud of himself)
D- aw thats cute. Youre a Mommas boy.
J- yes I am. She loves me the most. Dont tell Kevin though.
D- dont worry I wont.
J- (thinking) you knowI did pretty good at golf today. I think I found my calling.
D- (bursts out laughing)
J- what?
D- you thought you did good today?
J- well no, but I tried.
D- oh thats really good Joe. I would suggest sticking to mini golf and driving the golf cart next time.
J- I LOVE MINI GOLF! You get to act like a 5 year old while playing a sport.
D- no you dont.
J- yes! They have all those like safari animals at each hole! HELLO, its like going to the zoo without having to pay a ridiculous price and getting to play golf.
D- the only problem is that zoos have real animals. Mini golf places have fake plastic ones that make it hard to get a hole in one. I hate those things.
J- oh my god! How could you say you hate mini golf? Thats like a sin.
D- no its not. Trust me, me and mini golf dont get along.
J- well I guess I will just have to show you how great it really is.
D- no thank you
J- too late. Well get Selena and Nick to go too so it will be more fun.
D- oh joy.
