December 22, 2010 will go down in American history as the day that President Barack Obama kept his campaign promise to repeal "Don't Ask, Don't Tell'. It will also prove to be the first victory in 30 years for the LGBT Equality Movement due to the work of Grassroots activists from around the United States.

  • I was overwhelmed, literally brought to tears, by Col. Cammermeyer opening Wednesday's ceremony. I was instantly transported back to those early years when this offense began. Thank you to the innumerable individuals, both service members and civilians, who have fought tirelessly to repeal DADT.
