Prescription for domestic tourism

The Ministry of Tourism is proposing the creation of a four-months annual schools holiday that will run from April all the way to September. Tourism Minister Najib Balala says this will coincide with the onset of the tourism sectors low season and enable local tourists to take advantage of lower pricing of tourism offers.

That may not be a good idea coz first, The western countries take the 3 month holiday due to warm weather. Its usually frigid b'twn november to march thats why the western kids have no alternative than to go to school. Come summer, they relax and work. But It doent have any relevance why this should be ideal to Kenyan tourism sector?????????

So u wonder why coast residence are too much into starehe?This is the type of mentality they got since way back.Send him to israel to promote kenyan tourism.Israel is our friend!

Niambie DANIELS71 if yu see an elephant once, say in December why would u want another 3 months to watch the same crazy elephant in June? Hata kama ni Free? Balaa anaenjoy watu.

How many times yu want to be on the beach annually? na Drought has done enough damage..why follow the sun n pay for it?
