Arnab Chakrabarty (Sarode) and Partha Sarathi Mukherjee (Tabla) perform a gat composition in Raga Bihag, in Jhap taal, a 10 beat cycle.

Chakrabarty is an accomplished performer of the Indian sarode. He is a disciple of the late Professor Kalyan Mukherjea, a distinguished pupil of the legendary Pandit Radhika Mohan Maitra.

Mukherjee represents the Benares school of tabla, and is the foremost disciple of the Pandit Samta Prasad, a doyen of this distinctive gharana.

  • Beautiful, Arnab! You are one of the best on the planet. Question: Have you ever been able to produce sarods with western machine tuners? I know you were thinking about it.

  • Sweet Music!

  • Great...
