The class will combine rigorous dancehall RHYTHMs, BASS, EXPRESSIONs and BODY LANGUAGE training with information about the culture that created the music and its unique dance forms. The class has been designed to teach you the real deal of what dancehall is all about. You will also learn how to incorporate this form into your current style and still make it looks authentic.
Jamaican dance has attitude. It is an attitude that reflects the Jamaican people. The dance embodies the Freedom, Vitality, and Sun-kissed nature of island life. It reflects the driving beat of the music. This class will bring you into oneness with the music and its dance. Our aim with this class is to bring structure and a clear understanding and interpretation to this unbelievably creative dance form. By doing so, we plan to take it from its roots ,Jamaica. Intermediate to advance professional dancehall training.

The master choreographer/ambassador: DonnaRay; Director of choreography for the international reggae awards; Featured in POSH magazine, BackAyard magazine, Toured with nominated MTV VMA's Major Lazer, Time Out NY: Producer of VP Records world dance clash championship, Featured in Dance for Grace the movie. She has been a professional dancer and a gifted choreographer for over ten years. DonnaRay is dedicated to her roots and knowledgeable the dance foundation of Jamaica. A true master of the dancehall/reggae dance genera.
