My Black Lab...Kizzy...has been my constant companion since she was six weeks old. She turned 9 July 4th. She still looks good and is very spry for her age. I know it's gonna kill me when it comes her time to go.

I'm so sorry for you...I know just how you feel, too. one of our dogs died a couple of years ago, and he was in a bad home for a while, but at least he got to spend his last years with us. I bet your dog was very special to you.

Looks a lot like Mickey Blk/Lap/Pointer,he just turned 10,....white mouth,slowin down,lumpy body, god it goes by so fast.I could hold him in the palm of one hand at one time.I know this day is coming.. It's heart breaking to see this video...but I will appreciate the time we have with him that much more.

Treasure the moments you spent with your pet. I enjoyed walking her for exercise, play fetch, curled up to sleep beside me on the bed, etc.
Mixed breed like one described might not live longer than 10 years even if one has been well-cared for a long time. They begin dying due to age-related organ failure.
