Steelhead And Sucker Fishing, Jet Boating, Snowboarding, Kayaking In Michigan And Ohio

March Madness:

One might think of college basketball and the big dance, we on the other hand are trying to squeeze the very last life out of winter with snowboarding and ice-fishing. At the same time, we are praying for hordes of steelhead and suckers. March is a month of turmoil in the great state of Michigan. Join us for this crazy-mad winter/spring transition.

Jet Boat Rage:

Sully and I wanted to get some intel on some uncharted river water. We were looking for steelhead, walleye, suckers, and pike. The water was raging and still too cold. We couldnt find fish, but we were able to run some sweet rapids with his awesome jet boat. This trip was extremely useful. In-the-field intel is priceless. We think that this place will be loaded with fish in a week or two. Yep, you can bet your bottom dollar that we will have some kick-butt chrome footage soon!!!

Snowboarding:

A special thanks to JOFO for getting us into Boyne Mountain for CHEAP!!! Sorry JOFO that you didnt make the flip.

Dice was a champ. We got him down the hill looking like butter on his FIRST snowboard trip ever!!! We will get DICE carving in no time.

Rocky River:

The steelhead and sucker fishing was slow. This is a yearly trip for me. This is my old stomping ground that my dad has been taking me to for years. I wouldnt miss it for the world. My dad and I had a blast and I was able to tie into a nice hen with my 4 wt fly rod. This year, I remembered to bring my camera.

Odds And Ends:

Sully, Dice, and I decided to dedicate this video to all the douche bags that we have known, that we know now, and that we will know in the future. We are so anti-douche bag, but even douche bags have a place on this earth.

yeah cause im guna try it this year with a 5 wt.

and so you should. fly fishing with a heavy rod (anything over a 6 wt. is a waste of time for me. all you are doing is throwing lead bombs. if i am going to throw lead bombs, i will just use a spinning rod.

try the 5 wt. there are plenty of places on the rocky river where it will perform flawlessly. the 5 wt. is my favorite all-around fly rod.

if your useing a 4 or a 5 weight for steelhead especially late in the season you better be keeping them because they will die if you play them for a long time on light tacke.
