I'm not even going to say how sorry I feel for your kids, having an asshole like you for their father. Second, those "gay-turned-straight" people are flat-out lying. How do you know for certain that a.) they truthfully were gay to begin with, not bisexual or hetero, and b.) they have been "cured" and aren't just saying it to earn money as a spokesperson for his/her therapist? And who is God to tell someone who's a decent human being who's gay that s/he's going to Hell?

More people need to go confront this woman about her blatant attempt to misinform. Saying such crap like this on the House floor, she didn't say it for the body of Congress. Only to stir up the right-wing base, the only ones who'd believe her. She is "calling us out" she wants people to come to her office with cameras in hand and confront her face to face about her distorted representation of facts. Maybe "call her out" for being an evil wind-bag right-wing nutcase. The reason the GOP is dying.

Using the New York Times as a piece of evidence? That may not be the best way to go. It's run by liberals who often flat out lie or censor to justify their beliefs. It's what they do.

And why name laws after certain people at all? What makes them so different from the rest? Matthew Shepard's death wasn't any more special or different than any other homosexual who was murdered.
