@Mineux No, I know the Gothic Archies, I have listened to some of the music, but never around other people, because everyone says that "whatever the hell I am listening to needs to be shut off". Daniel Handler is a good author, but is just really poor at this if he's part of the band. Lemony Snicket is a fictional author, who writes childrens books, and I don't listen to the Backstreet Boys, but then again, compared to this song I would listen to them any day

Well I guess you have no idea that the author is in the band, and the band is an off shoot of Magnetic Fields, the authors band. So you should just go back to listening to classic Backstreet Boys while reading your books.

I love the Lemony Snicket series, I own it and have read it many times.... but this sounds like crap!!! It's annoying the way he sings and the lyrics are completely depressing and off key.
