Amtrak Heritage #156 Northbound meets #24 Southbound Orlando, FL Station

I appreciate those who were anticipating this view, but by luck I ran across the Amtrak 40th Anniversary #156 in Orlando on a chance outing on 8/20/11. Talk about luck as it was an even better catch as the Northbound Silver Meteor was met at Orlando Station by the Southbound Silver Meteor. One other railfan was in the area on S. Hughey Avenue nearby, but I did not get time to say hello.

Nice video! I might be taking the Silver Service to Orlando in 2012. Is there a railroad crossing that passes after departing Orlando?

@BNSF36542 There is one very close and is the intersection where I took this video. It is at Columbia Street (Amtrak Station is on Sligh Blvd). A few blocks North of the station (see map north of Gore St) there is a place along the tracks that is not busy and a good location. Enjoy your visit if you make it here!
