Cute & Perky 1962 teens from the "Hairspray"/"Grease" era at the Seattle/1962 World Fair. Produced by Jerry Fairbanks Productions Corporaiton for the Seattle Fair Agency and the Bell Telephone services. Score is from the Captitol Stock music library with Roger Roger at first then Philip Green dominating. Cues are annotated as are some other things..Due to time limitations, this is part one. Part Two uploaded tomorrow.

  • I was too young to go to the Seattle Fair. We went many times to the Seattle Center after it opened in 1964. Used to go up the bubblelator in the Food Circus.

    We all agreed the Fair was the best thing Seattle ever did. Put the city on the map, gave it the Space Needle, the Seattle Center and the Pacific Science Center. Plus it made a profit- take that New York!

    Back in the time when people had big ideas and actually followed through on them. The interstates, the dams...
