Norwegian Stealth Frigate KNM Otto Sverdrup

On this mission KNM Otto Sverdrup heads for the Norwegian archipelago of Svalbard, during its mission it also monitors a large Russian naval exercise.
KNM Otto Sverdrup is one of 5 new frigates for the Royal Norwegian Navy. Most of the navy has been modernized the last 10 years and are to day one of the worlds most modern navies. It dispatches 70 ships, from light armor to heavily armed ships, including submarines.

I wonder how much good 5 Norwegian frigates of this type can do against the Russian Nordic Fleet? Do you think the Norwegian ships together with is 5 submarines, and F15 aircrafs can defend against Russia?

Well together with all the other 70-80 ships in the Norwegian Navy, the Skjold Class and with the ships equipped with the world most advanced surface to surface missile, and very good intelligence agency and the air force, I guess that the Russians are gone think at least twice before they attack. We might not be able to stop them, but it is gone const them more then they can afford.

Problemet med den påstanden er at den røde hær som angrep Finland ikke er i nærheten av å kunne sammenlignes med senere utgaver. Hovedårsaken til at de gjorde det så dårlig mot Finland var fordi de offiserene som fylte tomrommet etter den nylige utrenskningen blant offiserskorpset ikke visste hva de gjorde. Men dette endret seg meget raskt. Noe som ikke minst understrekes av det faktum at etter fiaskoen mot Finland endte den Røde Hær tilslutt opp med å knuse det langt mektigere Tyskland.

@Dovenpeis jojo men finland klarte seg jo bra mot russland under andre verdenskrig så hvorfor kan ikke norge. man vet jo alldri (hvis de ikke angriper som, de ikke kommer til å gjøre) man må bare ha troen og støtte soldatene og ikke la sv nedruste alt så tror jeg vi kommer til å gjør det godt.
