Asian Star Newspaper; The Link; Canadian Times Published the following:

Swamiji resides in Canada. After giving his divine discourses on varied topics drawn from Holy scriptures over a year in Laxmi Narayan Temple, Surrey, Dr Swami Satya Prakash can now be heard in Durga Bhameshwari Mandir, #210, 7750 - 128 Street, Surrey on a regular basis. The devotees whose temple visit is not a ritual can now listen to his sermons interlaced with melodious hymns here. Those who get a chance to listen to him marvel at his vast knowledge of scriptures and the eloquence with which he recites Sanskrit verses. He is a scholar, an ascetic, a seer, a yogi, a saint, a superb musician, a composer, an eloquent speaker and a visionary.

Born on the auspicious Maha Shivratri day in 1958 near Haridwar, Swamiji spent most part of his life in Kashi. He was drawn to spirituality at an early age. He holds a Ph.D degree in Classical Music from Benaras Hindu University. Due to his exceptionally brilliant accomplishments in the sphere of music he was conferred with Lata Mangeshkar Award.

To get deep insight into spiritual knowledge, inherited from our ancient saints and seers, he did Master's degree in Philosophy with distinction for being first class first in the faculty. He is a practicing Yogi with Diploma in Yoga in Medical Sciences and is a great "Yogacharya".

In addition to getting formal education he followed the ancient tradition of being disciple of great Gurus. He learnt Sanskrit from Guru Pattabhiram Shastri and Pandit Rampreeti Upadhyay and music from great Gurus especially Pandit Ajit Bhattacharya and Pandit Mahadev Mishr of Kashi. Even he received his knowledge from Jagadguru Shankaracharya of Kanchi Mutt. He did Sadhna at the bank of Holy river Ganga at Gangotri, Rishikesh where he completed recitation Gayatri Purascharana. In 2006 on the occasion of Virat Sant Sammelan (Prodigious Congregation of Saints), in the presence of Gurus from Kashi, Haridwar, Kanchi, Dwarka, Ujjain, Ayodhya, Mathura and many great intellectuals from all over India, the title of "Jagadguru" was conferred on him meaning Global Guru-the embodiment of knowledge and wisdom for the world. Though the title was meant for him, yet with humility he said the world is his Guru. In fact, in 1990, he was asked to become the Shankracharya of the Jagannath Peeth which he did not take up. He has the honor of translating holy Guru Granth Sahib into Sanskrit.

His fame is not confined to India and has followers all over the world who constantly interact with him through his Blog, Facebook, Skype, Youtube, on the phone and through his international visits. He initially came to Canada as an invitee of the North American Hindu Association on Dharma Studies by Dr Arvind Sharma, the Head of Comparative Religious Studies in McGill University, Montreal. During his 2008-2009 visit to Canada he addressed large devotional congregation in places like Rogers Centre and Hindu Heritage Centre in Toronto and in well known temples in many cities of Ontario like Ram Mandir, Vaishnav Devi Mandir, Swami Narayan Mandir, Sant Gyneshwar Mandir Vedic Arogya Mandir, Hindu Mandir and Sathya Sai Baba Centre in Montreal, Quebec.

A glow of divinity always surrounds his very being. I haven't ever seen a streak of anger on his calm, composed and tranquil face. Instinctively one feels like touching his feet out of sheer reverence when he/she comes closer to him. If you log on your computer and make a google search on Dr Swami Satya Prakash, the search will reveal you what I couldn't give you in this short biographical sketch.
