her voice is was so beautiful but it was just so painful to watch her. she looked so lifeless. :(
-
Aside from it all, her smile is absolutely magical. Even her speaking voice carries a mystique.
-
@arfies I think she does drift however. And she is trying SO hard!

@Sordidlives1973 This quote from Olivia in "Little Girl Blue" is heartbreaking:
"Anorexia was not something that was talked about or known about in those days. People were very thin, but you didn't realize what it was. When I looked at Karen I saw this face with these big, beautiful, soulful brown eyes and this funny, quirky personality...She was a clown on the outside, but you know how clowns are- they are sometimes sad on the inside and funny on the outside- that was Karen."

@georgebur I could follow her fine. It's just the way she talked, making little jokes in-between things. (I do the same thing. Think I got it from my mom). If you listen to her earlier interviews, she does the same thing. But yes, she's clearly unhealthy here.

Oh, Karen :( Her voice was still beautiful but the light in her eyes was gone... The video they would have shown of Olivia's at the end, of her music video for "Physical", is just WAY too ironic for words when a very ill Karen was sitting on the couch with her. Have a look at "Physical" music video and you'll see what I mean... ;( Rest with the angels, Karen, for you are one xx
